Poem #35 of 365

The translucent bubbles
in my bottle
wear precise corners
and the
smooth facets of a
precious jewel.

But never will i drink
those diadem geometries,
never shall porter diamonds
drizzle down my throat,
gems of diaphanous thirst.

But wait---my mind changes.
