Poem #195 of 365

Lowan, a New Mexican friend, investigated
the benefits, for nursing babies, of suckling
on the breasts of mamas who laughed.

So he set up mamas to comfortably
sit, watching video after video of
comedies and funny movies. They
breastfed their babies soon thereafter.

The more they laughed, the better the milk.
Better for the baby...if the mamas liked
Marx Brothers and stand-up comedy.

That aphorism "crying over spilled milk"
has never rang so relevant.
